Results 2019

Once again the children and staff should be congratulated on very impressive results at their End of Key Stage tests (SATs). As you can see below, the school has once again exceeded the national achievement percentage at both expected and the higher standard.

Phonics

The school uses Letters and Sounds to teach phonics. Each child is tracked through the stages of the scheme. Children who need extra support are given sessions in small groups. Some children, who have significant phonic difficulty, are given individual work once or twice a day.The school uses a variety of reading books.Some books are phonetically based; others use word or sentence clues
