Jesus said: ‘I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly’ John 10.10

The value of joy is about embracing life in all its fullness. It is also the expression of inner happiness and contentment, but it does not mean that we are expected to be in a state of permanent happiness but that we encourage pupils to grasp all opportunities that they are presented with in a positive and thankful way.
