Last term we read traditional tales and had to solve a crime that happened in our classroom. There was a broken chair - that we had to fix by working together and when we followed the trail of oats, we found a cheeky little girl who had to be taught the rules of our classroom - thank goodness the Fledglings were on hand to help her learn how to help her. Then,  would you believe it - after we read Jack and the Beanstalk - a beanstalk sprung up in our classroom with a castle at the top. We received and wrote letters to the giant who lived in the castle. He told us he was friendly and oved hearing us play in the classroom.
