Welcome

We are proud to be a Church (Voluntary Controlled) School. We see our values of compassion, welcoming, joy, respect and perseverance at the heart of everything we do. Worship revolves around a weekly 'question to ponder' and the children are taught how our values can be interpreted and used in our everyday lives to respond to these questions. Our local Church is St. Mary's in Eastry and we have strong links with the Church. We visit the Church throughout the year as well as for special services such as; Harvest, Carol Service, Founder Day, Easter Service and our Year 6 leavers. Our aim is to offer the children the opportunity to reflect an offer experiences in order to encourage and promote their spiritual development.

Our Christian distinctiveness is best described through our school vison;

Our school family is committed to sustaining and growing a nurturing, learning community. We strive to promote a welcoming and open ethos to ensure all feel happy, safe and respected. We value each member of our community as unique individuals where all are encouraged and inspired to fulfil their potential as God intended.
