At Eastry we want children in school to learn. We are committed to meeting our obligations in regards to school attendance. As a parent/carer you are legal responsible for for ensuring your child is on school and on time. Our school target is for 100% attendance. However, realistically we do understand the genuine illness and exceptional circumstance can prevent attendance.

Attendance is monitored termly and we liaise with local authority and attendance service when needed. Parents are communicated with through this process; our aim is for children to be in school, engaged and learning. Please let us know if attendance is difficult, we are here to help.

The leaflet below has been created to help parents and carers know when your child should, and should not, attend school.
